From December 5–11, 2024, Pierre’s Theatre in Victor, Idaho, will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the beloved “A Christmas Carol” with a distinctive Western touch. With a setting in a small western town full of Wild West antics like card cheating, boot tossing, grave digging, and gunfighting, this year’s adaptation, “Ebenezer,” promises a new spin on the classic story of redemption. Local artists created and performed this rendition, imbuing the classic Ebenezer Scrooge’s spectral visits and moral metamorphoses with a lively frontier feel.
