Perhaps that means a full body massage and hot tub soak at the Stillwaters Spa, located on the ground floor of the Lodge, an early and scrumptious dinner at the Grille, followed by a good night’s sleep. It’s wise to rest up; the fun doesn’t stop when the sun brilliantly sets in this land of towering mountains and wild & scenic rivers.

Most visitors are undoubtedly here for the sightseeing and wildlife viewing trips to Grand Teton National Park & Yellowstone National Park, hiking in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, mountain biking at Grand Targhee Resort, horseback riding in the Teton Mountains, fly fishing on the famous Southfork of the Snake and the Henry’s Fork rivers. And sometimes, simply relaxing by the pool at Teton Springs on the sprawling sunning decks surrounded by the Big Hole Mountains.

So, while the nightlife, so to speak, isn’t always a priority in this gateway to the great outdoors, Teton Valley and neighboring Jackson Hole play host to an eclectic array of evening entertainment that is definitely worth checking out.

The delightfully charming hamlets of Victor, Driggs, and Tetonia make up the Idaho towns of Teton Valley. However, as a fortuitous twist of geographic fate would have it, Alta, Wyoming, bordering Driggs, Idaho, and home to Grand Targhee Ski & Summer Resort, is also considered a member of this magnificent & vast eastern Idaho family. The summer entertainment starts on Main Street in Victor, just minutes from Teton Springs.

Every summer, from June thru mid-August the immensely popular Music on Main, compliments of the Teton Valley Foundation delights local residents and visitors alike. Both up-and-coming and national acclaimed bands play their hearts out in the Victor City Park every Thursday night. Music on Main has the cozy, intimate feel of a family reunion and visitors are embraced and made to feel right at home. Pack your blankets and arrive hungry. There’s a diverse blend of local food and libation on site. Admission is free, all ages welcome, and everyone leaves the park smiling and rewarded with a new friend or two.

Friday night is RODEO! The Teton County Fairgrounds north of Driggs, puts on a show that is pure family entertainment. The best cowboys and cowgirls from the valley compete in this weekly summer show and it’s nothing short of a professional rodeo but these contestants are amateurs, local residents you’re likely to spot working at the local grocery store or gift shop. The events for the miniature cowpokes are hilarious; this is where future bull riders are born!

Spud Drive-in Victor Driggs Idaho
The Spud Drive-In is another evening activity that is almost mandatory for anyone visiting Teton Valley. Built back in the 50’s the Spud has entertained generations of families and it’s impossible to miss this attraction.

Just south of Driggs, the antique truck “Murphy,” sitting right off Highway 33 with the giant potato plopped in its bed is a dead give away you’ve arrived. And don’t be fooled by this venue’s quaintness, charm and hints of America’s past; you’ll be watching first-run movies under the stars at The Spud.

For those seeking the ultimate classical music experience, and the opportunity to spend an evening exploring Wyoming’s most premier destinations, Teton Springs guests will travel over Teton Pass to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The Grand Teton Music Festival recently celebrated their 60th season of providing world-class musical experiences. Musicians from around the globe delight audiences in this historic venue located at the base of the Teton Mountains. The Grand Teton Music Festival has long been considered one of the most impressive music festivals in the country.
