Flying in? We’ve got you covered
Depending on individual travel plans, how long of a trip you’re embarking on, personal needs, sightseeing and attraction priorities, and the like, will dictate how best to reach your Yellowstone-Teton destination. Contrary to the often-held impression that Teton Springs is located in a remote area, and thus difficult to access for destination travelers, the opposite is true. Teton Springs enjoys the benefit of having two of the best regional airports in the country serving its guests, and both of these transportation hubs are located within an hour’s drive of this Victor, Idaho vacation destination. This entire Rocky Mountain playground is easily accessible by major airlines serving both Jackson Hole and Idaho Falls Regional Airports.
Jackson Hole and the Grand Teton Mountains
If you haven’t flown into Jackson Hole before, expect to be totally wowed by the dramatic sense of arrival afforded by this airport’s location. Located entirely in Grand Teton National Park, the Jackson Airport is the only airport in the entire country that is indeed located within a national park. That distinction is only further enhanced by the fact that the Grand Teton Mountains, in all their splendor, loom directly above the airport, setting the tone before you even touch down. Passengers instantly appreciate before hitting the tarmac what an incredible journey they are about to have, in undoubtedly one of the most ruggedly beautiful places on earth.
Idaho Falls is just an hour away
The Idaho Falls Regional Airport is conveniently located two miles outside of the city of Idaho Falls. Despite its population base of 62,000 residents, Idaho Falls has retained that small-town feel with genuine hospitality to match. After picking up a rental car and just minutes from the airport, a fun way to stretch your legs before heading to Teton Valley, is a walk on the impressive Snake River Greenbelt that meanders around the river through an impressive system of trails & dramatic waterfalls. Parking is plentiful and this lovely paved path covers 5 miles on both sides of the river. It’s the perfect introduction to Idaho and the natural beauty you can experience throughout your travels in the Gem State. It’s also worth noting that travel to Teton Springs Lodge & Spa from the Salt Lake City International Airport is an easy four-hour drive up Interstate 15, with many attractions along the way.
