Driving from the Idaho Falls Airport is just as spectacular as you’re treated to eye-popping views, agriculture rich pastures and wide open landscapes as far as you can see as you head east. Don’t miss the scenic overlook between Idaho Falls and Swan Valley as you travel on Highway 26; the views of the mighty South fork of the Snake River are definitely worth the stop. Closing in on Swan Valley you’ll cross the South fork of the Snake River, this time up close and personal. If a comfort stop is in order, be sure to pull into the Rainey Creek Country Store. This charming establishment has been a cornerstone for this small community of Swan Valley for many years and offers more than the typical rubbery pizza and truck stop coffee found at most gas stations/convenience stores. This country store is famous for their square ice cream cones which are served year round. You’ll also find an eclectic array of pure Idaho souvenirs typically not found in other local retail outlets, especially the locally grown huckleberry products.

You’ll then proceed east on highway 31, with only 21 miles to go before reaching Teton Springs Lodge & Spa in Victor, Idaho. This final stretch of travel also provides the eye candy so prevalent in this part of the state, sprawling ranches and fields of grain nestled below towering mountain peaks. Once you’re at the top of Pine Creek Pass, it’s just a matter of minutes before you’re pulling into the Teton Springs Resort complex, your final destination for a winter vacation of a lifetime.
