From the Idaho Falls Airport, and If time constraints are not an issue, a fun detour and a terrific opportunity to stretch those legs after a long flight, is a stop along the Idaho Falls Greenbelt, located in the center of historic Idaho Falls. Complemented by waterfalls on the beautiful Snake River, there’s a wide array of restaurants and shops to cruise before you head to Teton Springs, a 66-mile trek via US Highway 26 East. It’s a scenic drive with rolling hills and vast farmland stretching in all directions as you follow the Snake River. Another stop at the Snake River scenic overlook is warranted and when you reach Swan Valley, you’re almost there! Swan Valley is a picturesque community that literally nestles on the banks of the famous South Fork of the Snake River. If you’re traveling during the summer months, be sure to stop for a square ice cream cone, a yummy treat that has literally put Swan Valley on the map.

Travelers setting down in Jackson Hole have undisputedly arrived at one of the most beautiful places in the country with a beautiful view of the Teton Mountain Range. It’s less than 34 miles to Teton Springs from Jackson Hole and you’ll enjoy the thrill of travel over the famous Teton Pass via Highway 22 with its summit reaching into the sky at just under 9,000 feet in elevation. The views from the top of the pass are staggering so have your camera ready.
